ConsultDetect™ is BGI’s revolutionary software created by our tax and accounting experts and designed specifically for VAT, GST/HST, PST, QST, and other related commodity taxes. Combined with our unique methodology, the software allows us to identify potential sales tax refunds and liabilities from your Accounts Payables. Where identified, a schedule of potential sales tax liabilities is provided to the client, and included as part of our service free of charge. No items are overlooked or are too small. In fact, a multitude of small errors often accumulate to large recoveries. BGI completes a LINE-BY-LINE review, with no partial reviews or sampling. Virtually 100% of all tax-related transactions are analyzed and traced back from the tax posting to the original transactions.
ConsultDirect™ is our dedicated post-review support service, facilitating client access to the actual tax specialist(s) who performed the review. Our client-first mindset ensures that the answers to client queries are provided with an established and intimate understanding of their systems, processes, vendors and treatments, vs. the industry norm of undedicated support via a generalized hotline.
